Every three to four months the earth on the South Coast starts groaning in expectation as richly diverse artists come together to organize another of these exciting, off-the-wall, art happenings known as ColaborArt.	The Ramsgate Conservancy’s Whale View Site is accessed via a footpath starting 100m south of the Waffle House.	The Ramsgate main beach has been transformed into a beautiful environment known as ‘Tanglewood’ which provides a platform for local artists and crafters to display their wares.

Tourism South Coast and the Southern Explorer are actively and continuously working to improve the quality of Tourism Product and the Tourist Experience on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. THE BLUE FLAG IS AN EXCLUSIVE ECO-LABEL WITH STRICT CRITERIA DEALING WITH WATER QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND INFORMATION, ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND SAFETY.
