The lighthouse is situated on the southern side of the mouth of the Umzimkulu River on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. Being part of the town of Port Shepstone, the lighthouse is regarded by the community as an asset of great interest.

Guided Tours are offered: Monday - Friday 9am to 4pm &
Saturday & Sunday 9am - 12pm.

School Group tours are also offered.
